During its more than 25 years of existence the Society has had many activities to be proud of.

Many courses in gothic handwriting and research in archives have been conducted along with summer camps, exhibitions etc.
The first summer gathering took place in 1996. in Viljandi, largest exhibition was related to the Society’s jubileum in spring 2000. in Estonian Academic Library.
Third camp took place in 2001 in Audru, 4th was in 2003 in Nõo.
5th such gathering was held in 2005 in Kose Uuemõisa (organised by Tallinn branch) and 6th in Saaremaa in 2007.
7th summer camp was held in Virumaa in August 2009.
8th summer camp took place on August 6-7, 2011, in Järvamaa.
9th summer camp was held in Võrumaa on August 3-4, 2013.
10th summer camp took place in Hiiumaa on August 5, 2017.
11th summer camp took place in Valgamaa on August 3-4, 2019.
12th summer camp took place in Tartumaa on August 7-8, 2021.
13th summer camp took place in Vana-Võidu on August 12-13, 2023.
Next summer camp is planned for August 2024.
Tallinn branch is publishing the newsletter Põlvnemislugu that is since 2004 become the newspaper for the Society. Tartu branch has been publishing its newsletter the Sugupuulane and Viljandi branch had until recently its own newsletter the Genealogus.
